Bug fixes and optimization
For OEM and vehicle-specific dash cams, using the correct update method is very important.
Step 1 – Prepare the Upgrade SD Card
Before updating, you need to prepare a compatible SD card.
SD Card Formatting Requirements
For 32GB SD Cards
File System: FAT32
Allocation Unit Size: 32KB
For 64GB / 128GB SD Cards
File System: exFAT
Allocation Unit Size: 128KB
⚠ Important:
Please make sure the SD card is formatted exactly as above before copying firmware files.
Step 2 – Copy Firmware Files
After formatting the SD card:
First:
Copy the file:
LD****A.bin
to the SD card.
Then:
Copy the file:
FW****A.bin
to the SD card.
⚠ Important Notes
Do NOT reverse the order.
LD****A.bin must be copied first.
The two files should not be copied together at the same time.
Step 3 – Start the Firmware Upgrade
Insert the prepared upgrade SD card into the integrated dash cam.
Power on the device.
Observe the indicator lights on the button board.
During Upgrade
When the red and blue indicator lights flash rapidly, the firmware is being updated.
Step 4 – Wait for Upgrade Completion
When:
The red and blue lights stay on simultaneously, and then
The lights turn off,
this means the firmware upgrade is complete.
At this point:
Remove the upgrade SD card
Power off the device
The unit will enter the next testing stage
